On Sunday, April 28, 2019, Dr. Brenda Allen, Class of 1981, Lincoln University’s 14th President, will visit the DC Metro Alumni Chapter, AALU.

Lincoln University was founded on April 29, 1854 as our Nation’s first degree-granting institution of higher learning to educate African Americans. Join DCMAC as we celebrate the University’s 165th Anniversary and Founders Day. President Allen will deliver a State of the University address sharing financial and academic insight into the state of the school on the occasion of the 165th year anniversary of its founding.

We will also kick off our “Power of 50” campaign to highlight the power to raise $30,000 in 12 months with consistent engagement of as few as 50 alumni.

Founders Day Donations to Lincoln University are encouraged. Suggested amounts are monetary combinations of ‘165‘, $165,000; $16,500; $1,650; $165; $65; $16.50; or an amount of your choice. RSVP by April 20, 2019, to assist the Chapter with proper planning.
